Sustained observations of the global climate system are essential for understanding, predicting, mitigating and adapting to climate change.
The Global Climate Observing System (GCOS) supported by EUMETSAT is holding a conference to assess how the current global climate observing system can be improved to better support current and near-term user needs for climate information.
